9 Days Of Navaratri Celebration At Home!

Every year, these nine days of Navaratri are very auspicious which is filled with complete devotion and reverse. People celebrate and welcome goddess Durga in her nine forms. And lastly, the 10th day is celebrated as Vijaya Dashami or Dusshera which signifies the victory of good over evil thus the strength of Lord Rama over Ravan. So, people start it by cleaning their homes.

DAY -2:  Brahmacharini Puja:  

The second is solely for worshiping Bramhacharani, an avatar of Parvati. She represents the hard road towards “Moksha” or Salvation. The Goddess represents knowledge and wisdom.

DAY -3: Chandraghanta Puja:   

The third day of Chaitra Navami is celebrated by worshiping another avatar of goddess Parvati, Devi Chandraghanta as the goddess of peace, bravery, and forgiveness. She is welcomed with all freshness and cleanliness around. Every single corner of the house is well-cleaned to perform the puja rituals in all purity.

DAY -4: Kushmanda Puja:   

Goddess Kushmanda is welcomed on the fourth day of Navaratri, who is believed to be the sole creator of the universe. She is worshipped for the light she brings to life, which dispels darkness. Welcome her wholeheartedly!

DAY -5:  Skandamata Puja:   

On the fifth day Skanda Mata Devi, the mother of the heroic warrior Skanda, symbolizes Divinity, is being worshipped. She symbolizes the determination of motherhood. Wisdom, wealth, power, and prosperity are said to be brought by worshiping the goddess in this form.

DAY -6:  Katyayani Puja: 

Goddess Katyayani is considered one of the fiercest forms of Durga. All your inner turmoil is resolved by praying to her. However, according to Hindu mythology, Maa Parvati assumed the Katyayani form to destroy the evil demon, Mahisasura.

DAY -7:  Kalaratri Puja:  

Goddess Kalaratri is the most fierce form of Durga. This worship relieves devotees' darkness fears at night, allowing them to sleep soundly. It is believed that she carries abundant power to fulfill all the desires of her devotees.

DAY -8: Mahagauri Puja:

DAY -9:  Siddhidatri Puja:  

On the ninth day of Navaratri, the goddess siddhidatri is worshiped. She is worshipped for going beyond the logical mind to explore more. And it is said she makes the impossible, possible.
